中美新闻报道中关于新冠疫情事件的比较研究

A Comparative Study of COVID-19 Incidents in Chinese and American News Reports

Abstract

新冠肺炎疫情自2020年初爆发后，社会上产生了许多虚假的不良信息，公众内心本就焦虑、烦躁的情绪被放大。在这种情况下，发源于欧美新闻业界的建设性新闻成为当下一些媒介或学者的关注焦点，它旨在以启迪人心的新闻报道来唤醒社会公众的行动意愿，进而促进社会的稳定与发展，但是建设性新闻的具体实践在不同的社会环境下会呈现出不同的特征。本文通过《人民日报》与《纽约时报》的建设性报道框架特征的比较分析，目的是探讨不同性质媒体在报道中的框架和叙事方式，而非简单地评判优劣，从而来看《人民日报》报道中的优势以及不足，提出自己的看法和一些改善措施，为中国新闻本土化实践的现实取向提供些许的思考和借鉴。

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 in early 2020, there have been many false negative information in the society, and the public's anxiety and irritability have been amplified. In this situation, constructive news originating from the European and American news industry has become the focus of attention for some media or scholars. It aims to awaken the public's willingness to take action through inspiring news reports, thereby promoting social stability and development. However, the specific practice of constructive news will present different characteristics in different social environments. This article compares and analyzes the constructive reporting framework characteristics of People's Daily and New York Times, with the aim of exploring the frameworks and narrative methods of different types of media in reporting, rather than simply evaluating the advantages and disadvantages, in order to see the advantages and disadvantages of People's Daily's reporting, propose my own opinions and some improvement measures, and provide some thinking and reference for the practical orientation of China's news localization practice.
