Abstract

这项研究深入探讨了沙巴山打根海南会馆文化传承的实践和挑战。通过运用案例研究方法，特别关注了该会馆在传承海南文化方面的历史演变和当前的努力。研究明确了研究的范围和目标，以调查山打根海南会馆对海南文化传承的具体做法。数据收集包括半结构化访谈，参与观察和文件分析等主要和次要来源。研究揭示了海南人在山打根的文化传承历程，强调了先贤们在困境中的坚毅和奋斗精神。通过研究结果，提出了一系列建议，包括深化跨代交流、数字化文化资源保存、拓展社区参与、建立合作伙伴关系、开展教育计划、利用社交媒体传递信息、制定长期规划以及加强对外交流等些建议旨在推动海南文化在沙巴的传承，确保其在未来能够持续繁荣。

This study offers a systematic and in-depth investigation into the practices and challenges of cultural transmission within the Hainan Association of Sandakan, Sabah. Adopting a case study methodology, the research foregrounds both the historical trajectory and the contemporary initiatives undertaken by the association in the preservation and transmission of Hainanese culture. The scope and objectives of the study are clearly delineated, with a focus on examining the specific mechanisms through which the Sandakan Hainan Association sustains cultural continuity. Data are derived from both primary and secondary sources, including semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentary analysis, thereby ensuring methodological triangulation. The findings elucidate the processes of cultural transmission among the Hainanese community in Sandakan, while underscoring the resilience and perseverance of earlier generations in negotiating conditions of hardship and displacement. Drawing on these findings, the study advances several recommendations, including the enhancement of intergenerational engagement, the digitization of cultural resources, the expansion of community participation, the cultivation of institutional partnerships, the development of educational programmes, the strategic use of social media for cultural dissemination, the formulation of long-term planning frameworks and the strengthening of external exchanges. These measures are intended to facilitate the sustainable transmission and continued vitality of Hainanese culture in Sabah.
