Abstract

Mind maps are often used by students to remember biology concepts. Students remember biology concepts better when graphics and related diagrams are used. However, students face difficulty to link main concepts with sub-concepts. This action research aims to explore how The Conceptual Mind Map Method helps students organise biology concepts and interrelate these concepts at different levels of complexity. In addition, this action research also explores the effects of using The Conceptual Mind Map Method on students' understanding of biology concepts. These findings will assist the transformation process of my next teaching practice.
