Abstract

This action research was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of Inst Card in improving spelling skills of closed syllables words, kvk among learning disability pupils, in the category of slow learners. The Kurt Lewin Model was used for this action research. Two pupils from the Special Education Programme (integration class) were chosento participate in the study. They were selected based on the result of a diagnostic test. Data was collected via observation, pre-test and post-test. The data analysis reveals that both participants showed significant improvement in post-test compared to pre-test. The findings of the study indicated that the usage of Inst Card is effective in improving spelling skills with closed syllables, kvk.
