Malaysian Music Journal

The Malaysian Music Journal (MMJ - ISSN 2232-1020) is a fully peer-reviewed academic journal that highlights music scholarship and related activities with a particular focus on the ASEAN region. It is a forum for music scholars who wish to share their research of musical issues. Whilst the journal is based in Malaysia, articles with a broad global focus are welcome. We invite submissions of original articles from a wide spectrum of research areas, which may include multiple areas of musicology, music education, performance, ethnography, composition, music technology, sound art, indigenous music and cultural studies. Published by UPSI Press for Faculty of Music & Performing Arts, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris.
