Keberkesanan Teknik Membaca SQ3R untuk Mengoptimumkan Kemahiran Membaca dalam kalangan murid tahun enam di SJKC Chung Hwa Kuala Lipis

Kajian ini menilai keberkesanan teknik membaca SQ3R dalam meningkatkan kemahiran membaca serta prestasi akademik murid Bahasa Melayu di SJKC Chung Hwa, Kuala Lipis, Pahang. Reka bentuk kuantitatif dilaksanakan melalui soal selidik berstruktur yang terdiri daripada tiga bahagian utama: maklumat latar belakang responden, persepsi terhadap teknik membaca SQ3R, dan kesannya terhadap pencapaian peperiksaan. Sampel kajian melibatkan 100 murid yang dipilih secara rawak. Data dianalisis menggunakan perisian SPSS melalui kaedah statistik deskriptif serta inferensial. Hasil kajian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman teks dan skor peperiksaan selepas pelaksanaan teknik SQ3R (p<0.05). Maklum balas responden turut mencerminkan peningkatan minat dan keyakinan dalam pembelajaran. Implikasi kajian mencadangkan potensi penerapan SQ3R sebagai pendekatan pedagogi inovatif dalam pengajaran Bahasa Melayu. Kajian ini juga memberikan asas bagi penambahbaikan latihan guru, pembangunan modul pembelajaran, serta pengukuhan kurikulum sekolah rendah.
