பொருண்மையானது சொல்லின் பொருளைக் குறிக்கும் தன்மையாகும். சொல்லின் பொருள் என்பது மொழியின் ஒரு கூறாகும். எனவே, பொருண்மையியலை மொழியியலின் ஒரு கூறாகக் கூறலாம். மனிதன் மொழியின்மீது எப்போதும் ஆர்வம் கொண்டவனாக விளங்குகிறான். மொழியியல் குறியீடுகளுக்கு இடையே உள்ள தொடர்பைப் புரிந்துகொள்வதில் நாட்டம் கொண்டவனாக விளங்குகிறான். சொற்கள் வெளிப்படையாகவும், குறிப்பாகவும் பொருளை உணர்த்தும், சில சொற்கள் பொருள் உணர்த்தும்போது வெளிப்படையாகப் பொருளை உணர்த்தும்; சில குறிப்பாகப் பொருளை உணர்த்தும்; சில சொற்கள் சூழல் அமையாமல் பொதுவான பொருளைப்பெற்றும் விளங்கும். ஒரு சொல் தன்னுடைய பொருளை விளக்காது, அதனோடு தொடர்புடைய வேறு ஒரு பொருளை விளக்குவதே ஆகுபெயர் எனக்கொள்ளப்படுவதால் இதையும் குறிப்புப் பொருளாகக் கொள்ளலாம். அன்மொழித் தொகையையும் இவ்வாறே கொள்ள வேண்டும். பொருள் அமைப்பில் இலக்கணம் உடையது, இலக்கணப் போலி, மரூஉ, இடக்கரடக்கல், மங்கலம், குழு உக்குறி ஆகியவை இருவகை வழக்குகளுள் இயல்பு வழக்கு, தகுதி வழக்கு ஆகியவற்றுள் அடக்கும் இவ்விலக்கணத்தின்வழி சங்கத் தூது பாடல்களில் எவ்வாறு பயின்று வந்துள்ளன என்பதை ஆராய்வதே இக்கட்டுரையின் நோக்கமாகும்.The term meaning is the definition of the word. Seems to be interested in understanding the relationship between linguistic codes. Words convey meaning explicitly and specifically. The purpose of this article is to examine how grammatical term, grammatical duplication, morpheme, idiosyncrasy, ambiguity, and group pronouns have been studied in the sangam messenger songs (sanga thoothu paadalkal) through this grammar, which includes both the natural case and the qualifying case.
