Abstract

Organizational justice refers to the feeling of justice that exists as a result from the employees evaluation on the administration style and decision-making process in the organization, which is an important element in organizational administration.. This is because it is able to directly affect the success of an organization. The objectives of this study to evaluate the effect of organizational justice consisting of interactional justice and procedural justice on job satisfaction in the service sector. This study was conducted at the larger postal and courier service in Malaysia using a quantitative approach. A total of 450 respondents consisting of various levels of employees at the studied organization from all over Malaysia. The results of the analysis using SmartPLS software show three important findings. First, there is a significant relationship between organizational justice and job satisfaction. Second, there is a significant relationship between interaction justice and job satisfaction. Third, there is a significant relationship between procedural justice and job satisfaction. The findings of this study can help organizational administration to understand the importance of organizational justice to foster a positive attitude among employees. In turn, this situation can increase the productivity and competitiveness of organizations operating in the era of globalization.
