Menangani isu Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran dalam talian: Kajian kes di Sekolah Menengah Daerah Kampar, Perak

Pandemik Covid-19 dan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) telah memaksa kerajaan Malaysia menutup semua institusi pendidikan dan pelbagai sektor pekerjaan. Hal ini menyebabkan gangguan besar dalam sistem pendidikan negara. Proses Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran secara bersemuka telah terhenti bermula 18 Mac 2020 kerana berlaku peningkatan kes Covid-19 dalam kalangan pelajar dan kemunculan 31 kluster pendidikan telah memaksa penutupan sekolah. Kerajaan Malaysia telah mengarahkan semua sekolah melaksanakan Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran di Rumah (PdPR) bagi meneruskan sesi pembelajaran dan membendung peningkatan jangkitan Covid-19 dalam kalangan pelajar serta guru-guru. Kajian ini bertujuan menganalisis masalah dan cabaran pelajar sekolah menengah semasa PdPR serta mengemukakan cadangan penambahbaikan untuk pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam talian di masa hadapan sekiranya berlaku penutupan sekolah akibat krisis kesihatan awam. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif iaitu borang soal selidik telah diedarkakan kepada 501 orang pelajar sekolah menengah dan temu bual bersama lima orang guru di daerah Kampar, Perak. Hasil kajian menunjukkan cabaran utama pelajar ialah isu capaian internet, kekurangan peranti pembelajaran yang sesuai, kos data internet tinggi, persekitaran pembelajaran di rumah tidak kondusif, kurang kemahiran mengendalikan tugasan digital dan masalah kefahaman terhadap pembelajaran dalam talian. Masalah-masalah ini mengganggu gugat pemahaman pelajar dan kelancaran proses PdP serta berpotensi menyebabkan keciciran ilmu.
