Malaysia consists of a pluralistic society, which differs in terms of religion, race, and culture, thus in need of a medium in society. In this regard, dialogue is seen as an effective medium for building understanding and tolerance among the people of this country. The Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad SAW’ hadith clearly proves that dialogue is one of the most effective forms of da'wah used by the prophets to non-Muslims. In a dialogue, a preacher needs to build relationships by displaying praiseworthiness or Daᶜwah Bil Hal, then they need to use the method of al-hikmah in dialogue as applied by the prophets. Thus, this article discusses the concept of the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s Daᶜwah Bil Hal through a dialogue approach that can be used as a guide for preachers. The research methodology of this study uses a qualitative study by analysing the texts of the prophet’s that have been selected which to the dialogue of the Prophet Muhammad SAW with the target followers of his preaching. At the end of this study, a concept of daᶜwah bil hal is built through the dialogue approach of the Prophet Muhammad SAW to non-Muslims that can be used as a guide for other preachers.
