February, 2020
The journal was established under the UPSI Press at Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia. The founding Editor-in-Chief was Professor Dr. Mohd Kipli Abdul Rahman, who served the journal with dedication, laying the foundation for its academic standards and editorial practices.

February, 2022
In February 2022, Dr. Fara Dayana binti Mohd Jufri was appointed as the new Editor-in-Chief. Her tenure marked a period of strategic development, focusing on expanding the journal's reach and enhancing its scholarly impact within the academic community.

February, 2024
In 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Fazli Taib bin Saearani took over as the Editor-in-Chief. Under his leadership, the journal continues to strive for excellence, aiming to contribute significantly to academic research and discourse.

January, 2025
In 2025, Jurai Sembah will publish 7 articles in each issue. In total, Jurai Sembah will publish 14 articles in 2025. This aligns with the growing number of submissions and increasing public engagement with Jurai Sembah.
