Instruments Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) and Rosenberg Self -Esteem Scale (RSES) were used to collect data. Results indicated that emotional neglect has the highest number of childhood maltreatment experience by youth but emotional abuse has the most severe case. The childhood maltreatment showed a significant negative correlation with self-esteem. Among the respondents, the increase in the level of childhood maltreatment were correlated with the decrease of self-esteem.
