Pengaruh Tekanan Akademik, Keyakinan Tingkah Laku Akademik dan Kebimbangan dalam Kalangan Pelajar Universiti

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti hubungan antara tekanan akademik, keyakinan tingkah laku akademik dan kebimbangan dalam kalangan pelajar universiti. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah bukan eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Kaedah tinjauan telah digunakan untuk pengumpulan data. Terdapat 209 pelajar yang terlibat dalam kajian dan mereka telah dipilih melalui persampelan rawak berstrata. Skala Persepsi Tekanan Akademik (PAS) telah digunakan untuk mengukur tekanan akademik, Skala Keyakinan Tingkah Laku Akademik telah digunakan untuk mengukur keyakinan akademik dan Skala Kemurungan, Kebimbangan dan Tekanan (DASS-21) (skala kebimbangan) telah digunakan untuk mengukur tahap kebimbangan pelajar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan majoriti responden mempunyai tekanan akademik tahap sederhana dan keyakinan tingkah laku akademik tahap rendah. Tekanan akademik dan keyakinan tingkah laku akademik didapati mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan sederhana dengan kebimbangan pelajar. Hasil analisis regresi pula menunjukkan tekanan akademik merupakan peramal paling mempengaruhi kebimbangan pelajar. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan bahawa untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan pelajar, sebarang langkah intervensi menangani kebimbangan perlulah memberi perhatian kepada faktor tekanan akademik dan keyakinan tingkah laku akademik.
