SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
ABSTRACT (ALL CAPITAL LETTER, FONT SIZE 12)
The abstract should be a brief summary include Objectives, Methods, Results and Implications. The abstract should be written between 100-120 words in one paragraph. Manuscripts in the Malay language must be include the title and abstract in the English language. The abstract must be written using Times New Roman font size 10 and single spacing.
Keywords: list up at least 3 and not more than 7 keywords separated by semi colon [;]
INTRODUCTION (ALL CAPITAL LETTER, FONT SIZE 12)
The introduction should present the problem statement and describe the research briefly. The introduction must use Times New Roman, font size 11 and single spacing. The paragraph should be justified. The first paragraph for any sub should not be indent and for the next paragraphs indent.
FIRST LEVEL SUB-HEADING (ALL CAPITAL LETTER, FONT SIZE 12)
No spacing between paragraphs. Next paragraphs indent (No spacing).
SECOND LEVEL SUB-HEADING (ALL CAPITAL LETTER, FONT SIZE 10)
No spacing between paragraphs. Next paragraphs indent (No spacing).

Tables
- The word Table, number and description should be typed above the table.
- You can refer to table in this way: Table 1, 2, 3 and so on.

Figures
- Figure may contain graphs, charts, maps, drawing and photographs.
- The word Figure, the figure number and the description should be typed below the figure.
- You can refer to figure in this way: Figure 1, 2, 3 and so on.

DISCUSSION/CONCLUSION
The discussion/conclusion must use Times New Roman font size 11 and single spacing. Paragraph should be justified.
REFERENCES
All citations in the manuscript must appear in the reference entries and all the entries must be cited in the text. The entries must be arranged in alphabetical order according to APA format. The reference must use Times New Roman font size 10.

- When quoting, use double quotation marks [“….”] to enclose quoted text and provide the author, year and specific page number of source.

APPENDIX
An appendix is on different page for each appendix, if there is any. An appendix is helpful if the detailed description of certain material is distracting in or inappropriate to the body in the paper.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Manuscript submission
- The authors need to submit their manuscripts by using the online submission
(http://ejournal.upsi.edu.my/journal/Pendeta). When you are on the page, click submission guidelines for further submission process.
- The authors are required to use the style template and format the manuscript accordingly before submit the final.
- The manuscript should enclose a cover letter that includes telephone number, e-mail address and mailing address for the future correspondence. The authors must state that the manuscript has not been published and is not under consideration for any publication.
Typeface and Margin
- All manuscript must be typed in Microsoft Word (.docx) with single spacing and using Times New Roman.
- Margins are to be set at Normal (2.54cm) at the top, bottom, left and right for every page.
- Paper size should be A4 paper and print on one side.
Page Numbers
- Number all the pages in Arabic numerals in the upper right-hand corner.
Paragraph and Indent
- Do not indent the abstract, first paragraph in the next, titles and headings, table titles and notes and figure captions.
- Indent the second and next paragraph in the text.
Reference
- The list of references should be not less than 10.
- The list of reference must include at least two articles from PENDETA.
- The references should be current sources that published within the last five years.
- The authors are required to refer the References Guidelines according to APA format.
