Abstract

This article discusses the influence and struggle of the greats of religion, education and an anti-British nationalist namely Abu Bakar bin Mohd. Saidor better known as Abu Bakar al-Baqir. This figure who hails from Gunung Semanggol, Taiping is quite rarely talked about and known to public. With this writing, it may increase the treasury of history pertaining to the historical biography of our nation’s figure who has fought for freedom.
