Zakat Distribution to Asnaf Al-Ghārimīn from the View of Scholars and Current Practices

Abstract

This study discusses the distribution of zakat for asnaf al-Ghārimīnin from the view of scholars and current practices. This paper presents the debate among scholars concerning the distribution of alms to the needy al-Ghārimīn and its implementation in Malaysia. The study was conducted using qualitative research method and analyzed using the method of deductive, inductive and comparison. Studies show that the distribution of zakat al-Ghārimīn recipients should be implemented at present to solve the current issues related to these recipients.
