This article aims to explain views of Islamic jurisprudence scholars on matters related to blind people and prayer such as their ijtihad to decide praying times, issues on facing the qiblah, leading congregation prayer and also whether Juma’ah prayer is obligatory for them. These issues were discussed and analysed in details by scholars from different school of jurisprudence in the authoritative Islamic jurisprudence books. Religious law dictated in Islam is undoubtedly compatible with people’s capabilities so that it would not be a burden to them.
