The discussion of this article is aimed at examining issues and thoughts in the drama texts of Mayat, Patung-Patung and Kerusi by Hatta Azad Khan (2009). The discussion focuses on the author's thinking from the point of view of the society. This study used The New Literary Theory as a fundamental theory. This study used content analysis as a method of collecting and categorizing data. The data were analyzed using Malay dramatic texts generated through various styles of questions, thoughts and approaches in compiling and processing dramatic aspects of the texts in Mayat, Patung-Patung and Kerusi. The discussion focuses on the questions raised by the author in the three dramas Mayat, Patung-Patung and Kerusi. The findings show that various questions can be presented through these three dramas. In addition, the thoughts expressed by the author, Hatta Azad Khan, in the three dramas are lessons to be learned by the society and this is in line with the theories used which is The New Literary Theory.
