Aim and Scope

This journal is an important platform with the aim of promoting research and scientific publication on knowledge and learning in Islamic tradition and culture. In particular detail, its broadest sense covers textual, historical and empirical aspects, from both classical/medieval, modern and contemporary periods in the Islamic World and beyond. This journal welcomes the emerging and original research articles based on library and/or empirical research in the field of knowledge and learning in Islamic tradition and culture, especially on, but not limited to, main topics:

  • Tahfiz and Qiraat Studies

It encourages articles that employ a multi-disciplinary approach to those topics. Scholars from any countries and region that are concerned with Islamic tradition and culture on knolwedge and learning disseminated throughout its manifestation along with the Islamic World and beyond can submit their article to Al-Makrifah and use this open access journal.
