Cabaran utama dalam era Pendidikan 5.0 ialah untuk melahirkan individu yang bermoral, berkarakter dan mekar insan tanpa mengabaikan kemahiran teknologi serta kerjaya. Individu murid yang berkembang mekar diharap dapat menyumbang kepada kesejahteraan manusia secara lokal dan global, seperti yang digariskan dalam matlamat Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Dalam hubungan ini satu unsur yang perlu diambil kira ialah hati nurani yang menjadi asas kemekaran insan. Pemerkasaan hati nurani perlu bermula dari sekolah dengan menggunakan strategi dan teknik pengajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif. Justeru, kajian ini bertujuan untuk menggunakan satu teknik inovatif iaitu Teater Perbincangan Dilema Moral (TPDM) dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran Pendidikan Moral. Murid-murid dilibatkan dalam empat langkah TPDM iaitu: (i) pengembangan skrip (ii) lakonan immoral (iii) perbincangan dilemma dan (iv) lakonan penyelesaian dilema, untuk memperkasa hati nurani yang menjadi tunjang kemekaran insan. Data dikumpul secara kualitatif dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan kaedah analisis tema. Sebanyak 4 tema terjana daripada data yang dianalisis iaitu kesedaran moral, emosi moral, sikap rasional dan empati moral. Tema-tema yang terjana memberi impliksi terhadap perkembangan hati nurani yang menjadi paksi kemekaran insan murid sekolah menengah.
