This quasi-experimental research aimed to assess the effectiveness of Brain Gym activities on the cognitive development of children at the preschool level in the following aspects: classification, seriation, concept of numbers, number operations, concept of time, concept of space and problem solving skills. There were a total of 60 preschoolers aged six years old involved in this research. The outcome of the research showed that there was a significant difference in the cognitive development between the experimental group and control group in all aspects with the t-value of 10.389 (df = 58), p< 0.05. More specifically, the independent variable in this research i.e. Brain Gym activities have a significant positive effect on the cognitive development of preschoolers in the following aspects: classification (t-value = 4.879), seriation (t-value = 4.251), concept of numbers (t-value = 7.447), number operations (t-value = 7.370), concept of time (t-value = 10.661), concept of space (t-value = 4.462) and problem solving skills (t-value = 2.692), with df = 58, p< 0.05.
