Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan mengatasi masalah murid dalam menguasai operasi darab dan bahagi dengan memperkenalkan kaedah ‘Stair Master’. Kaedah ‘Stair Master’ merupakan satu kaedah yang boleh menyelesaikan kedua-dua, iaitu operasi darab dan bahagi. Kaedah ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman murid terhadap algoritma dan konsep pendaraban serta pembahagian. Kajian ini melibatkan 12 orang murid yang diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan kaedah 'Stair Master' melalui tiga peringkat yang diperkenalkan oleh Bruner, iaitu peringkat konkrit, semi konkrit, dan abstrak. Kaedah pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam kajian ini melibatkan ujian pra dan pasca, temu bual, pemerhatian, dan analisis lembaran kerja. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahawa penggunaan kaedah ‘Stair Master’ berjaya meningkatkan penguasaan murid dalam algoritma dan konsep operasi darab dan bahagi. Murid-murid juga menunjukkan penguasaan yang baik dalam memahami hubungan antara kedua-dua operasi tersebut. Selain itu, kaedah ini membantu murid menyelesaikan soalan darab dan bahagi dengan lebih mudah dan memotivasikan mereka secara positif. Kajian ini berjaya memperbaiki amalan pendidikan, meningkatkan keberkesanan pengajaran, dan menanam nilai-nilai positif dalam diri saya.
