Abstract

Pengetahuan dan kefahaman guru prasekolah tentang kecerdasan pelbagai murid memainkan peranan penting dalam meningkatkan amalan pedagogi terbeza yang memenuhi keperluan serta kebolehan murid yang pelbagai. Kertas konsep ini bertujuan meneroka kepentingan pengetahuan dan kefahaman guru terhadap konsep pedagogi terbeza dan hubungannya dengan kecerdasan pelbagai murid dalam pelaksanaan pengajaran dan pembelajaran di prasekolah. Hasil analisis daripada sorotan kajian literatur menunjukkan bahawa pengetahuan dan kefahaman guru terhadap kecerdasan pelbagai murid seperti yang dicadangkan oleh Howard Gardner, secara langsung mempengaruhi pemilihan strategi pedagogi terbeza. Penemuan ini juga menegaskan bahawa amalan pedagogi guru dengan mengambil kira pengetahuan tersebut dapat menyokong perkembangan holistik murid di dalam kelas. Artikel ini turut mendedahkan pemahaman guru yang mendalam tentang profil kecerdasan murid dapat memilih strategi pengajaran yang sesuai malah bukan sahaja memenuhi keperluan kognitif dan minat murid, tetapi juga memupuk persekitaran pembelajaran yang lebih berkesan dan bermakna. Implikasi kajian ini mencadangkan bahawa untuk meningkatkan keberkesanan pelaksanaan pedagogi terbeza di prasekolah, guru perlu diberikan latihan yang lebih komprehensif mengenai kecerdasan pelbagai untuk diintegrasikan dalam pengajaran harian mereka. Kajian ini juga mencadangkan perlunya penyediaan sumber yang mencukupi dan sokongan berterusan untuk guru bagi mengatasi cabaran dalam melaksanakan pedagogi terbeza.
