Abstract

Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti pandangan ibu bapa terhadap pesalah seksual kanak-kanak tadika. Khususnya, kajian ini mengenal pasti perbezaan pandangan ibu bapa berdasarkan jantina mengenai pandangan ibu bapa terhadap pesalah seksual kanak-kanak, pandangan ibu bapa terhadap pesalah seksual kanak-kanak di persekitaran mereka, pandangan ibu bapa terhadap hukuman pesalah seksual kanak-kanak dan pandangan ibu bapa terhadap kanak-kanak yang mengalami penderaan seksual. Seramai 61 orang ibu bapa di sekitar daerah Klang, Selangor yang mempunyai kanak-kanak yang berumur 5 hingga 6 tahun dipilih sebagai responden kajian. Kajian ini telah menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan borang soal selidik yang telah diterjemahkan mengikut kesesuaian konteks kajian. Secara keseluruhannya, dapatan kajian mendapati tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan antara pandangan ibu bapa terhadap pesalah seksual berdasarkan jantina.

The purpose of this study was to indentify the views of parents on the sexual offenders of kindergarten children. In particular, this study identifies differences in parental views based on gender on parental views on child sexual offenders, parental views on child sexual offenders in their environment, parental views on child sexual offender punishment and parental views on children who have been sexually abused. A total of 61 parents around the district of Klang, Selangor who have children aged 5 to 6 years were selected as study respondents. This study has used quatitative methods by using questionnaires that have been translated according to the sutability of the study context. Overall, the findings of the study found that there was no significant different between parents’ views on sexual offenders based on gender.
