Author Guidelines

1. The article must be written in either Arabic, Malay, or English language (UK or US but consistently throughout the manuscript).
2. For Malay and Arabic manuscript, an additional Title and Abstract in English MUST be accompanied.
3. The font is Traditional Arabic in size 16 throughout Arabic manuscript/article.
4. The font is Times New Roman in size 12 throughout Malay and English manuscript/article.
5. The length of the abstract is between 200 to 250 words. Keywords consist of three (3) to six (6).
6. The length of the article is between 3000 to 7000 words including references.
7. Follow an APA (7th edition) general guideline. No footnote is allowed.
8. For Arabic manuscripts, the references must be transliterated or written in Romanise.
9. Article submission is subject to double-blind review.
10. SIBAWAYH uses TURNITIN to check for plagiarism of all new manuscripts submitted and revised manuscripts. SIBAWAYH only tolerates 35% of the similarity index for all articles.
11. The article should cite at least one article from SIBAWAYH journal.
