About the Journal
SIBAWAYH Arabic Language and Education (eISSN 2716-5515) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes two issues per year (June & December). SIBAWAYH serves as a platform to promote scholarly discussions and collaborative networking among academicians, researchers, theorists, practitioners, and policymakers of Arabic studies. SIBAWAYH highlights current trends in Arabic language, literature, linguistics, and education. There are no submission charges or article processing charges (APC). The journal pursues a trilingual publishing policy (Arabic, Malay, and English). The Editorial Board reserves the right to decide which language an article will appear in and undertakes to provide professionally acceptable translations.
The primary aim of SIBAWAYH Arabic Language and Education is to advance the field of Arabic studies by disseminating original, high-quality research that offers new insights into the Arabic language. The journal seeks to foster a scholarly dialogue that bridges traditional and contemporary approaches to Arabic, linguistics, literature, and education, encouraging contributions that highlight theoretical depth, methodological rigour, and contextual relevance.
