Menggilap Pemikiran Futuristik Pelajar di Universiti Berfokus Menerusi Pendekatan Keusahawanan Sosial: Mitos atau Realiti?

Keperluan untuk menzahirkan pelajar yang berilmu dan berwawasan bagi masa depan negara semakin kritikal dalam landskap pendidikan tinggi pada masa kini. Sehubungan itu, kehadiran keusahawanan sosial dalam kurikulum pengajian tinggi amat dialu-alukan dengan harapan agar pendekatan keusahawanan sosial tersebut dapat membantu membina pelajar yang peka terhadap keperluan masyarakat dan mengamalkan inovasi untuk menyelesaikan sebarang isu yang berkaitan. Pelajar di universiti dituntut untuk menggilap pemikiran futuristik agar mampu mengenal pasti keperluan dan peluang pada masa akan datang. Oleh yang demikian, kertas konsep ini akan mengupas persoalan sama ada pendekatan keusahawanan sosial sebagaimana yang dihasratkan mampu menggilap pemikiran futuristik dalam kalangan pelajar universiti, atau sekadar menjadi retorik pendidikan moden. Pendekatan keusahawanan sosial yang dilaksanakan secara strategik dan berstruktur berpotensi menjadi pemangkin pembangunan pemikiran futuristik pelajar, selain mendorong pemikiran kreatif dan empatik. Justeru, kertas konsep ini membincangkan dan merumuskan beberapa cadangan praktikal untuk penggubal dasar serta penyedia program pendidikan tinggi bagi memperkukuh keberkesanan pendekatan keusahawanan sosial dalam menggilap pemikiran futuristik pelajar di universiti.
