PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
All articles published in Malaysian Journal of Music are archived through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a trusted, decentralized preservation system based on the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) technology. This ensures redundancy and long-term accessibility, particularly for journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

Internet Archive
In addition to PKP PN, Malaysian Journal of Music maintains a public digital backup of its content through the Internet Archive, which regularly crawls and stores snapshots of the journal website. This supports open access by providing an additional preservation layer that is freely accessible to the public.
