The influence of teacher leadership on the success of form six students in form six colleges in Central district of Perak
Pengaruh kepimpinan guru terhadap keberhasilan pelajar tingkatan enam di kolej tingkatan enam daerah Perak Tengah

This study is conducted to identify the influence of teacher leadership practices on student achievement among form six students. This study is quantitative in nature using questionnaires to collect data. The study sample involved a total of 123 form six students in several Form Six Colleges in the Central Perak District. Sample selection was made using a simple random sampling technique. Study data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Findings of the study showed that teacher leadership was at a high level (mean = 4.15, SP = 0.47) and the level of student achievement was also at a high level (mean = 4.07, SP = 0.43). Through Pearson Correlation analysis found that teacher leadership has a moderate positive relationship at a significant level with student achievement (r = .658 **, p = 0.002 <.05). Through linear regression analysis found that teacher leadership has a moderate and significant influence on student achievement by 26.5% (R2 = .265, p=0.008 <0.05). This study concludes that there is a significant influence of teacher leadership on student outcomes in moderation. The implications of this study suggest that teacher leadership needs to be strengthened to improve the outcomes of form six students.
