In the era of Society 5.0, mastery in the field of digitization is a skill that must be mastered by educators. This is because teaching and learning at school is no longer limited to pedagogy but also heutagogy, peeragogy and cybergogy. Accordingly, as an Instructional Coach, SISC+ not only emphasizes guiding teachers towards the Professional Development (PP) of teachers in the classroom as well as changes in better pedagogical skills in teaching and learning. The fact is, Instructional Counselors, SISC+ should emphasize the practice of guidance based on digital technology in line with today's education according to the landscape of the Education 5.0 era. Following that, this literature review was conducted by searching for articles related to "instructional guidance" and "digital technology" through access to databases such as ERIC, ProQuest, Emerald, and Google Scholar. For the purpose of this article, the analysis was carried out and identified three models of instructional guidance that were used in previous studies, namely: Literacy Model of Guidance by the International Literacy Association (ILA); the Instructional Guidance Model of Technology Integration by Ottenbreit-Leftwich et al. and Instructional Guidance Model based on digital education. This finding provides guidance to researchers to further explore the three models to improve the effectiveness of instructional guidance in integrating digital technology in teaching and learning.
