ANALYSIS VALIDITY CAREER THOUGHT ADJUSTMENT MODULE (PPK ) BASEDON THE THEORY COGNITIVE INFORMATION PROCESSING ( CIP ) (52 - 67)

This study aims to obtain content validity Career Thought Adjustment Module (PPK - CIP ), which is built on the Theory Cognitive Information Processing ( CIP ) . CIP theory provides a framework for individuals to be able to solve the problems of his career , and thus enable it to make a career decision , Sampson , Peterson , Reardon and Lenz (2000 ) and Sampson et al. (2004 ). According to S.C. Bertoch (2014), the main goal of the CIP is to assist individuals in making career decisions , acquire skills in making career decisions , namely to improve the career problems and making a career decision . The first phase of the study involves the construction of a draft module through literature review and interviews among teachers in guidance and counseling . The second phase of the study is to obtain face validity and content validity of the module. The sample consisted of among experts in the field of psychology and counseling . The first phase resulted in 8 sessions and 23 activities in the PPK-CIP module . The findings of the second phase shows all the experts agree and give some suggestions for improvement of the PPK-CIP module . Implications for counselors in facilitating career counseling and group counseling in schools to help reduce students' dysfunctional career thoughts. Thus , the results of the PPK-CIP module can be extended to study the effectiveness of the PPK-CIP modules to students who have a dysfunctional career thoughts.
