Abstract

Modernity and technological advancement today requires teachers to be better prepared and equip themselves with the knowledge and skills to use technology as well as provide the latest innovations during the teaching and learning process of children. 21st century learning and skills are highly emphasized to cultivate critical, creative and even problem-solving skills for, an early age. The approach of using interactive games is a method of learning through play that can provide different, unique and interesting experiences to children and teachers. This approach is also seen to have the potential to be one of the methods that are popular among teachers to achieve a learning objective. Therefore, this article will discuss the concept of interactive games, the advantages of interactive games and the application of interactive games in the teaching and learning process in Malaysia.
