Faktor Utama yang Mempengaruhi Stigma Awam Terhadap Pendidikan Tvet dalam Era Transformasi Digital: Kaedah Nominal Group Technique (NGT)

Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti faktor-faktor utama yang mempengaruhi stigma awam terhadap pendidikan Teknikal dan Latihan Vokasional (TVET) dalam era transformasi digital di Malaysia. Kaedah Nominal Group Technique (NGT) digunakan bagi mendapatkan konsensus daripada 12 peserta yang terdiri daripada pendidik, pelajar, ibu bapa dan wakil industri. Melalui analisis sistematik, sebanyak sebelas faktor dikenal pasti sebagai penyumbang kepada persepsi negatif terhadap TVET, dengan lima faktor menunjukkan tahap kesepakatan tertinggi, iaitu kurang kesedaran awam, persepsi bahawa laluan akademik lebih berprestij, kekurangan pendedahan media positif, persepsi rendah terhadap peluang kerjaya, serta pengaruh budaya sosial terhadap status pekerjaan. Dapatan menunjukkan bahawa stigma terhadap TVET bukan hanya berpunca daripada isu dasar atau infrastruktur, tetapi juga hasil interaksi kompleks antara faktor sosial, komunikasi awam dan budaya pendidikan yang berakar lama. Kajian ini menegaskan keperluan memahami semula dimensi sosiobudaya yang membentuk persepsi masyarakat terhadap TVET agar bidang ini dapat dihargai sebagai teras pembangunan modal insan dalam era ekonomi digital
