Abstract

Perkembangan Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut pelajar aliran vokasional memiliki kemahiran teknikal dan kebolehsuaian kerjaya yang tinggi bagi menghadapi cabaran pasaran kerja masa kini. Namun, instrumen yang menilai kemahiran ini masih terhad dan memerlukan penilaian kebolehpercayaan yang menyeluruh. Sehubungan itu, kajian ini meneliti penyelidikan bertajuk Kebolehpercayaan Instrumen Kemahiran IR4.0 dan Kemahiran Teknikal terhadap Kebolehsuaian Kerjaya Pelajar Sains Rumah Tangga. Tujuan kajian ini adalah menilai kebolehpercayaan instrumen soal selidik yang dibina bagi mengukur tiga konstruk utama, iaitu kemahiran IR4.0, kemahiran teknikal, dan kebolehsuaian kerjaya. Bagi memastikan kesahan kandungan dan kesahan muka instrumen, semakan telah dibuat oleh tiga orang pakar. Penambahbaikan daripada segi struktur ayat, pemilihan istilah, dan kesesuaian item telah dilakukan berdasarkan pandangan mereka bagi memastikan instrumen selaras dengan konstruk yang ingin diukur. Kajian rintis kemudiannya dilaksanakan ke atas 33 pelajar Tingkatan 4 dan 5 dari aliran Sains Rumah Tangga di SMK Dato Haji Kamaruddin, yang turut mengikuti pengajaran berkaitan pembuatan pakaian. Hasil dapatan menunjukkan nilai Alpha Cronbach bagi keseluruhan item ialah 0.987, yang menandakan kebolehpercayaan instrumen berada pada tahap sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan pandangan Tavakol dan Dennick (2011), nilai Alpha Cronbach yang tinggi mencerminkan konsistensi dalaman yang baik dalam mengukur konstruk yang sama. Mereka juga menyatakan bahawa nilai ini dipengaruhi oleh bilangan item serta saiz sampel responden, lebih banyak item yang berkait secara langsung dengan konstruk akan meningkatkan kebarangkalian memperoleh nilai Alpha yang stabil. Justeru, instrumen ini disahkan sah dan sesuai untuk digunakan dalam kajian utama. Kajian ini dijangka dapat menyumbang kepada penambahbaikan kurikulum TVET agar selaras dengan keperluan industri semasa dan cabaran Revolusi Industri 4.0.
