Abstract

For questions about knowledge, the findings of Level 1 showed the seven rights and responsibilities are covered in the syllabus, the majority of students understand the rights and responsibilities of consumers questioned except for involvement and action and social responsibility. For Level 2, of the 12 categories, two categories of rights and responsibilities did not show satisfactory results. Implication of the study is the construction of a consumer education model for primary school education, which accounted for seven rights and responsibilities that must be nurtured to the students. In this regard, two modules entitled 'Smart Consumer' were designed for students in Level 1 and Level 2.
