Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design and develop i-Think Mind Map Module for Science Year 5 Primary School. This module is for reference and guidance for the teacher on how to use i-Think in the classroom. Besides that, the development of this module is also to increase the pupil’s proficiency in Science. Researcher using ADDIE model to develop this module and it have 5 stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. i-Think Mind Map Module consists of 4 sections; information about i-Think, information regarding eight thinking maps, daily lesson plans and worksheets for the pupils based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). In this research, the module is assessed by Science’s teacher, i-Think trainer and lecturer of UPSI. This module is assessed by using checklists. All improvements will be made after the evaluation is completed. This module can reduce the burden of the teachers to use i-Think Mind Map in the classroom. In addition, with the use of worksheets based on HOTS, hopefully it can improve student proficiency in Science.
